It only took 10 years, but Brookton Place in Dacula finally has a website. Nextdoor.com offers free neighborhood websites where residents can plug in and stay informed. The only requirement is that 10 residents join the site in the first 15 days. You can invite your neighbors either by email or the site will actually mail postcards to residents and pay for the postage.
It's a private social network for your neighborhood!
For subdivisions without an active HOA, this is a great way to stay informed and it's free to join! Residents only need to verify their address either with a phone call or a postcard. Enter the code given on the site and you're in.
